In " Journey to the Snowcano", it is revealed Mist Twisters can come in different colors, such as green, purple or even shades of yellowish green. The color of the wings and tail fins are based on the color of the heads: the left wing and tail fin can be blue, while the right wing and tail fin can be red. It also has two large wings compared to body size, and a long tail with two tail fins. The knees bend backwards on its hind legs. The Mist Twister's body color can be gold with a cream underbelly. The right head has wavy horns and a pair of large head frills, while the left head has curved horns and a pair of small head frills. The heads and necks can have different colors based on their fire types: the fire-breathing (right) head can be red, while the ice-breathing (left) head can be blue. The features on this dragon are based on Chinese culture and patterns, which includes both heads having frills on the sides, long horns, eyebrows, whiskers, goatees and spikes that run down from the neck to the tail. The Mist Twister has two heads on long necks with a single body. The egg has two different colours that fade into one another, reflecting the colours of the dragon inside. It also reveals the initial shorter snout and long eyebrow appendages instead of whiskers.Ī Mist Twister egg is round, with several budges spiralling around it. The Mist Twister's strength lies in the ability to breathe both hot steam and icy frost, combining the two blasts for a powerful attack.Ī piece of concept art shows that the Mist Twister was intended to have membranes between its front and back legs instead of actual wings, similar to a flying squirrel. Opposites do attract! Though the clashing personalities of the Mist Twister's heads may cause some bickering, they always come together when it matters most.
